TWLL Cap Night is the official kickoff celebration for the 2026 Tustin Western Little League season and one of the most exciting nights of the year for players and families.

Cap Night is when players are formally introduced to their teams and receive their official TWLL hat, marking the start of the season. Families get their first look at team rosters, meet managers and coaches, and see teammates for the first time - often with a lot of smiles, high-fives, and nervous excitement from the kids.

The evening is organized by division, with teams called up one by one. Each player’s name is announced, they receive their cap, and are recognized as part of their team for the season. It’s a simple moment, but for many players - especially first-timers - it’s a big deal and a memory that sticks.

Cap Night is also about community. Board members are present, league leadership shares a few words about the season ahead, and families reconnect after the offseason.

After teams are announced, parents and coaches will hold a short meeting to discuss the upcoming season and practice schedules. 


CAP NIGHT SCHEDULE AND PARKING
Please note this is an estimate and sometimes divisions can take longer than anticipated).  Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled time.  Parking will be in the Trinity parking lot, if you find that you need to utilize any street parking, please be safe and try to utilize any sidewalks to avoid crossing dark streets.

Schedule:
5:00 pm: Challenger
5:00 pm: Tee Ball
5:45 pm: Coach Pitch
6:20 pm: Rookie
6:45 pm: Minor A
7:15 pm: Minor AA
7:40 pm: Minor AAA
8:00 pm: Majors
