As of now, each evaluation will consist of:
2 flyballs in OF
2 throws from OF to 3B
3 groundballs at SS
3 throws from SS to 1B
4-5 swings off machine/blue flame/pitching
1 sprint from home to 3B
The whole age group will move through the sequence of skills in order. This means that you MUST be present at the start time of your age group to be evaluated. If you arrive after the group has finished the first skill, you will not be evaluated that day.
If your child is League Age 7 and signed up for Rookie division, but would like to be considered for the A division, they must attend the evaluations. Placement into A division depends on the draft and is not guaranteed.
It is recommended that all players wear baseball attire: cleats, baseball pants, belt, t-shirt, hat. Your child will also need their baseball glove, baseball bat and batting helmet.
