The VJ Lovero award is the highest individual honor that can be received by a Tustin Western Little League player.  Each year, the players in the Major division vote for a 12 year old from the Major division that they believe exemplifies the high standards of play at TWLL through sportsmanship, citizenship, and hard work.  This player works hard to be the best player and teammate they can be on and off the field.  They develop friendships that result in mutual esteem, respect and devotion...a sincere liking for all.  They develop loyalty to themselves and all those that depend on them.  They are cooperative with their teammates and coaches, help others, and see other points of view.  And lastly they are enthusiastic.  Their heart is in it and they stimulate others to do their very best as well.

 

It is with great pride that Tustin Western Little League recognizes the players who have demonstrated these attributes as voted on by their peers.
